Like with all physical activity, including walking from your car to the store, there exists the potential for injury.

Too many players treat pickleball as their social hour or two. It certainly can be that, and it's also a sport. This article contains tips to prevent injuries related to pickleball.

A report in the Journal of Emergency Medicine estimates that there are about 19,000 pickleball injuries per year with 90 percent of them affecting people 50 or older.
